If you’re reading this article, chances are that you’re interested in biohacking and want to mitigate artificial blue and green light in your iPhone.
This article will guide you through the settings for older iPhones (8 and below) and newer iPhones (X and newer)
iPhone 8 and Older
Step 1: Find and select the “Colour Filters” option by going through Settings → General → Accesability → Display Accomodations
Step 2: Enable “Colour Filters” with the green toggle/switch and then choose “Colour Tint” as your default setting. Scroll down and find the “Intensity” and “Hue” sliders. To maximise benefit, increase both of these sliders to the highest setting.
Step 3: Often, throughout the day, you’ll need to toggle between the red filter and your normal screen, which can be quite annoying. Luckily, you can save yourself the difficulty of changing your settings each time by creating a shortcut.
Go to Settings → General → Accessibility, then scroll all the way to the bottom and select “Accessibility Shortcut”. Select the “Colour Filters” option from the list, and you’re done. Once your done, you can switch between your normal screen and red tint on command just by pressing the home button three times.
iPhone X and Newer iPhones

Step 2: Enable “Colour Filters” with the green toggle/switch and then choose “Colour Tint” as your default setting. Scroll down and find the “Intensity” and “Hue” sliders. To maximise benefit, increase both of these sliders to the highest setting.
